All the treatments Ilyana offers work with you as a whole being. The physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects are all interwoven. The treatments help you to deeply relax, allowing the body to do what it intrinsically knows how to do, to heal itself. They guide you away from your busy mind, back into your body, to your essence bringing you towards health, peace and well being. Receiving a treatment is taking responsibility for your health. It is a commitment of looking deeper inside to find the root of the illness, be present and accepting of what is presenting itself and realising the inherent capacity for healing.
“It is a humbling journey when we take steps to heal ourselves and open to who we really are. It is always a privilege to work alongside people in their healing, to witness their courage, to be present with their pain, their joy and their transformation. The healing journey requires a commitment, saying yes from a deep place to life. This means taking an active part in our healing journey; to practice what we know serves us to come into wholeness, what ever that is. The more we do this, the more we rest in our Being, the more we realise that we are absolutely supported, then we move from doubts, fears and separateness towards trust, deep love and union and live our dreams to their fullest.”
Kundalini Yoga brings all aspects of human evolution together in a complete technology. Originally kept secret and only practiced by privileged Yogis, the secrecy was then broken and Kundalini Yoga was brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan. It was realized that in the west we needed a holistic and scientific system to help us cope with the changes, the challenges, information overload, the stresses and illnesses that are emerging as we go through a massive shift in our consciousness.
Kundalini yoga brings us into awareness through our own disciplined practice and experience. It shines light on the patterns of our ego to help them dissolve and raise our dormant energy, so that our minds, bodies, emotions and soul come into alignment, so that we live the potential of who we are.
Kundanlini Yoga uses a combination of dynamic postures, classical asanas, pranayama, mantras, mudras, meditation and a deep relaxation. A kundalini Yoga class varies in the degree of physical and mental stamina required. It ranges from light stretches, breath work, different kriyas, which have specific sequences and effects and also has powerful workouts. Yoga is not competitive. Where ever you are with your physical health and fitness, what ever age or level of experience you have, what ever belief system you follow, you can always benefit from kundalini yoga at the level that works for you.
Kundalini Yoga brings results quickly with committed practice. It strengthens our immune, glandular and nervous system, it increases our endurance, vitality and stamina, it clears out old patterns that are limiting, it balances our mind and emotions, it brings us wisdom, intuition, guidance, protection and ultimately brings us into union with the depth of who we are.
