A fantastic opportunity to test out a luxury villa with pool as a new venue for Pilates and Yoga Retreats in the beautiful Sicilian countryside.

Liz will be teaching and she will be helped with all the organising and running the retreat by the lovely Sicilian, Loredana, who runs the Paccamora café on Catherine Hill in Frome.  Loredana regularly runs art and food retreats at this same location so knows and loves the area, she will be your tour guide and chef extraordinaire.

Saturday 24 September – travel day from UK to Sicily
Sunday 25 to Friday 30 September – six days of twice daily classes (one afternoon off).

Morning movement practice with meditation Each morning will have a specific theme or focus for the day. For example we will explore yoga with both yin and vinayasa influences in addition some classes will be influenced by qigong, flow stretch, Garuda and Pilates.

Afternoons Relax by the pool, enjoy a treatment, go to the beach, explore – two afternoons we will travel to see the temples and acropolis of Selinunte and the medieval town of Erice.

Late afternoon classes in Pilates – all levels catered to.  As this is a trial run the retreat is only open to 10 people therefore afternoon Pilates classes will provide a lot of individual attention with two groups identified according to levels.

Accommodation:
Torre Canalotto is an old and beautiful colonial house, located in the Sicilian countryside near to the magnificent Selinunte excavations and just 10 minutes from the beach. This house, built around an old look-out tower, is on a wonderful hill in a garden with citrus, olive, palm and cypress trees; in the garden a big swimming pool swathed in greenery and a little lake with papyrus plants and bamboo plants complete this perfect location.
