Mindfulness is about being wholeheartedly present to the everyday moments in our life, in a kind and nonjudgemental way. This helps us discover more joy in life, and greater freedom to deal with struggles and stresses in a calm and constructive way. The Introduction to Mindfulness workshop is an ideal way of getting a taste of mindfulness, so you can explore how mindfulness might be of benefit to you.
We will do some simple mindfulness meditation and gentle mindful movement, with clear guidance from the teachers. We will also practise short mindfulness exercises to do for yourself in your daily life, and we will look at how you can learn more about mindfulness. This workshop is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
