What is TRE®? TRE® is a powerful method for experiencing relief from stress, anxiety and trauma, by releasing deeply held tension in the body. TRE® unravels chronic patterns of stress and tension stored in the muscles, and discharges stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol by activating the body’s natural ability to shake. This shaking process occurs through accessing the body’s tremor mechanism existing in all mammals, which is the body’s most natural way of coming down from the fight-flight-freeze response.

You will learn a set of stretches designed to fatigue the muscles, invoking the body’s innate ability to shake. After the exercises we then lie on the mat, remaining present, and allowing the tremors to move through the body naturally.

The course is open to a maximum of 8 people to ensure that everyone is supported with the process.

Most people report a feeling of relaxation while doing TRE® and others experience a physical or emotional release during the session.
